The consumption of imported Kaolin used in ceramic industry is relatively low comparing with the consumption in other industries. With high quality and appropriate price, the imported Kaolin from Malaysia has taken some parts in Chinese market. In recent years, more and more ceramic tiles of large size have been produced, especially in the last year and the year before last year, more production lines of ceramic tile of large size have been put into use. Due to the critical requirements for the ceramic tile of large size as well as the ceramic of high quality, the requirement for the raw material Kaolin is much more higher than common ceramic, therefore this production capacity stimulated the increasing of the imported Kaolin made by RDS. The popularity of ceramic of large size makes the rising of the standards of the raw material. The Kaolin of RDS has significant advantages in ceramic industry of China such as its high whiteness, low content of Fe and Ti, and low price. Moreover, in recent years, Chinese authorities have paid more and more attentions to natural resources , and implemented more restrictions onto the mining activities. Since Kaolin is indispensable in ceramic industry as raw material, in the future in Chinese market there will be a more prosperous prospective for high-quality Kaolin made by RDS in Malaysia.
